Christelle and Karlo took the excellent decision to choose Cavalli Estate near Stellenbosch, Cape Town as the ideal venue for their Cape Town Wedding Celebrations. Because we have used this venue before, we know it well and are very fond of the perfect backdrop that it provides for an unbeatable Cape Town wedding.
We added many, very special, magical touches to Christelle and Karlo’s wedding. The most dramatic effect was the pathway to the “Sunken Garden” which we adorned with an immense floral design. To the side, we positioned “Wimbledon” chairs and a large gazebo structure dressed with a collage of florals and draping sheers, interspersed with fresh multi-coloured rose petals. It was the perfect setting for Christelle and Karlo’s journey to begin.
The ambiance for this Cape Town Wedding was incredibly romantic but lighthearted accompanied by the soothing sounds of the talented Violin and Cello duo.
In keeping with the breathtaking mountain backdrop, the bridesmaids in blush-pink, perfectly complemented the bride’s diamond white gown and her stunning bouquet of white orchids, roses and peonies.
The wedding decor theme perfectly dovetailed with the bridesmaids’ smaller bouquets…. fresh, simple and beautiful!!
After the wedding ceremony, canapés of BBQ pork rice paper rolls, crispy Phyllo rolls with mustard pork and mushroom next to mozzarella arancini and beef skewers were served to delighted guests. With Cavalli Capriole MCC served to the accompaniment of La Luna; a top Cape Town Jazz Band, together, we delivered a dreamy heavenly wedding day against the perfect panorama of the Stellenbosch Mountains.
In the evening, we served dinner in the Cavalli Conservatory with displays of Hydrangeas and O’Hara Roses and transformed the dinner tables into understated dreamlike florals lit by candles to finish off the overall effect of the harmony for this personalised, private dinner party.
The chef’s sublime offerings included Venison loin with spiced faggot, butternut & potato gratin, cauliflower purée, Sea bass with parsnip purée, shrimp croquette, cucumber, celery, onion cups and a lemon sauce.
The evening culminated with the serving of white chocolate mousse, a chocolate brownie torte to the entertainment by the DJ of Trilogy Music.
