1. Men’s suits and accessories for 2017
Most men are completely unaware of the variety of men’s accessories that can be worn on their wedding day and for that reason I will share with you,a sneak preview of my favourite (and coolest men’s accessories) recommended to 2017 to surprise your Bride with.

-Belts tie the whole outfit together so buy a brand spanking new belt for your wedding day and get her name engraved on the inside to show her how much you care. 2. Naked cakes & marble cakes for 2017
Let your imagination run wild when it comes to finding inspiration for your wedding cake design. Examples include:
-Your chosen venue’s beautiful ornate moulding,
-Your joint love of contemporary designs,
-The patterns on your wedding stationary….to name but a few
And so, without hesitation, a definite hot Wedding trend for 2017, is the NAKED CAKE! Yep, you read that right. With the deconstructed cake, you get to show off the inside. For Summer time weddings for example, beautiful Summer berries work exceptionally well allowing your guests to feast with both their eyes and taste-buds on the beautifully exposed “naked” cake.
3. GIN BARS are on the hot, hot, hot list for 2017
Gin bars are increasingly gaining popularity at an incredibly fast pace. Deemed as a super “hot attraction” for the ultimate trendy wedding & served by experienced spirit aficionados to guide guests through a new diverse range of gins, is proving to be a “must-have” in 2017.

4. White is still the new BLACK in 2017
“White-On-White” STILL tops the palette charts for 2017 weddings.
Combine this with pops of soft, brushed metallic and whiter accents to make this one of my many favourites for achieving a modern, yet classical approach.
The simplicity of white is both romantic, fresh and new, symbolising the beginning of a new life for the bride and groom. That’s why we still love it.
5. Vintage / Lace Wedding themes in 2017
The vintage | lace wedding trend is still going strong and will continue to do so in 2017!
This comes as no surprise as there is just something that feels so romantic about adding old-world accessories, expensive lace and classic touches to the whole scheme.
Many couples will also opt for including family heirlooms to their wedding décor for a really intimate and personal touch.
6. “First Look” – A brand new concept for 2017
I absolutely LOVE “First Look” Weddings!!!! The concept is completely new and goes against tradition, but I think “First Look” weddings are a real winner in this day and age.
A “First Look” wedding means the groom gets the ‘first look’ at the bride before anyone else sees her. It allows the bride and groom to have some real quality time together before the ceremony to absorb and embrace the moment without the distraction of the guests.
The photographers love it too, because it allows them some time alone with the couple in knowledge that they are not keeping the them away from their guests.
It takes me forever to convince a bride to go this route but I highly recommend it!
7. Colour trends for 2017; For the love of pink…
When it comes to accent colours, just the same as white; pink or “blush” to be precise, remains the “must-have” wedding colour trending for 2017 because it’s both elegant, fresh and perfectly timeless.
Pink proteas are the perfect pink but you can even go a little darker with peonis or Blushing Brides…
8. Impressive lighting installations in 2017
I view lighting as one of the most commonly overlooked aspects of many a wedding. In 2017 lighting options are taking on a completely new role. I believe that lighting adds a theatrical element to any wedding if done properly and it is essential to the atmosphere. It therefore needs a specialist with profound abilities to create something extraordinary. Lighting can emphasise the moment, amplify beauty, and make everything; even the most simple elements, seem more striking. The right lighting can also define spaces with soft glows or highlight architectural elements to make them more spectacular.
